We need specific information in order to give you a quote. The simplest way is to complete the RFQ Form and submit it. We have designed different RFQ forms for different services mix that you require. RFQ contains detailed queries about the information that we need for quoting.
While filling the RFQ form, it is not necessary to answer all the queries therein; supply whatever information is available, and leave the answers to remaining queries as BLANK or "NOT AVAILABLE / NOT KNOWN / NOT DECIDED" etc. We will get back to you if we need more information or clarification.

Information needed to Quote for PCB Layout Design:

Have you already captured the circuit schematics in a Schematic Capture package (like ORCAD)? If the answer is NO, then we will have to do the Schematic Capture before the Layout Design.
We need the following information in order to give you a quote. Supply as much information as you can.
Circuit Schematics
Net List or at least a Net count
Parts List
Parts Data sheets/specs, package sizes or at least number of Pins on each part
Size or a mechanical drawing of the board.
Any critical considerations in the design: like shielding, Impedance Control,
Differential matched pairs, tuned nets etc.

In absence of PCB Gerber files, the following information would be required:
Board Size, Board Thickness, Number of Layers, Copper weights for layers
Board Material
Minimum Trace Width and Spacing
SMT ? ; Number of Pads; 1 side or both?
Minimum and Maximum Hole sizes: Number of Holes
Any Buried or Blind Vias?
Surface Finish , Solder Mask Type.
Gold Gingers or not?
Silkscreen: one side / both sides / not reqd?
Cutouts/ Special Route/ Scoring etc? Describe
Ground Plane on component or Solder side?
Impedance Control? Dielectric Control?

Any Fine Fitch Devices? How many?
Any BGAs and micro BGAs? How Many?
Board Fabrication & Assembly Drawings
Any special assembly procedures to be followed
In case of Turnkey quote, we also need the following additional Information:
Detailed Parts List (This should give, for each item, manufacturer part numbers,
quantity, and any other information that helps in procurement)

· Circuit Schematic and Netlist.
· A drawing or description giving the board outline, board size, type of material and
other PCB fabrication choices.
· A drawing or description giving preferred placement of any / some / all components.
· PARTS LIST.
· Data/ specification sheet for each component.
( you can also give web URLs of each vendors part's data sheet.)
· Special/ Custom Design Rules that need to be followed in the design.
This will include all the design and routing requirements, testability,
critical signals, minimum spacing, impedance matching requirements, differential pairs etc.

Number of Boards to be fabricated
Design Files:
Gerber Files should be in RS274-D or RS274-X or ODB++ format. (2.3 leading format preferred.)
Gerber files - for all circuit layers, Solder Mask, Silkscreen
Aperture file- There may be one aperture file for each layer in the design.
Drill file
Fabrication Drawing: Showing the board outline, layer built-up, copper weights on each
layer, materials to be used, and generally drill pattern and sizes.
Readme.txt: ASCII text file with the following information:
All those details pertaining to the board that were not there in the fabrication drawing.
Contact information: Person Name, Company Name, E-mail address, Telephone no.
A list of file names and what they are.
